TopSpin Round Robin ("the app") is a tournament management app for sports clubs and players. This policy explains what information we collect, how it's used, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

• Account information: your phone number (if you sign in by phone) and/or email address (if you sign in with Apple or Google), and the display name you provide.
• Location: your device's approximate or precise location, only when you use the "Find a Club" or "Quick Challenge" search features, to show nearby clubs and players. You can also search by zip code instead of sharing your device location.
• User content: information you or a club host enters, such as tournament names, match scores, player rosters, and club details.
• Push notification token: a device token used to send you notifications about your tournaments and matches, if you allow notifications.

We never see or store your password. Signing in with Apple, Google, or your phone number is handled entirely by Apple, Google, or our authentication provider (Firebase) — they verify your identity and hand our app a secure, revocable session token, not your password. We have no access to your Apple ID, Google account, or phone carrier credentials at any point.

How We Use Information

We use this information solely to operate the app: to run tournaments and round robins, show nearby clubs and players, track match results and stats, and send you notifications you've opted into. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where Information Is Stored

App data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore database, and Cloud Messaging), which acts as our data processor. Firebase's own privacy practices are described at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Sharing With Other Users

Your display name, match results, and club membership are visible to other players and hosts within clubs you connect to, since the app is inherently social/competitive (tournaments, standings, challenges). Your phone number and email are never shown to other users.

Your Choices

• Location sharing is optional — you can search by zip code instead.
• Push notifications can be disabled in your device settings.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete My Account, which removes your account and profile data. Match history you were part of stays intact for other players in shared tournaments and clubs, consistent with how any completed tournament record works.

Children's Privacy

TopSpin Round Robin is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
